About Us
The need for a stable strong learning foundation is crucial in shaping the ultimate future of our children. Following our consultancy work in primary and secondary education across the country, coupled with our director’s experience in education, there was a clear identification of the missing foundation pillar to learning. This meant that many young people did not only have inadequate literacy and numeracy skills, but for many the absence of basic social and learning skills meant that even learning how to learn was equally lacking. This paved a background for us to create a working curriculum that hinged on a tested framework while localising content.
Based on the UK Early Years Foundation Stage programme, Steps-Up infuses core elements of our local learning and development strands to give your child a firm diverse foundation for their development in later years.
The academic programme is based on the British National Curriculum and it is structured around personal, social and emotional development, creative development, knowledge and understanding of the world, communication and language, problem-solving, reasoning and numeracy.

We also offer weekends only child care for the busy / working parents.
*Overnight charges are billed separately. Please speak to the manager.
During holidays and weekends, our child care and learning services are charged on a daily basis unless where prior agreed.
NB: Public holidays are considered non-term days hence the facility is not open to termly arrangements.
- Full day: 6.30am -6.30pm
- Half day: 6.30am- 12.30pm or 12.00pm-6.30pm
- Late pick-up: up to 8.00pm
- Weekends – Open (Booked)
- Overnights – Arranged
At registration, your child will receive a Steps-Up learning bag, a welcome gift pack usually to help transition into a new environment.
Stationery, Nappies, Wet wipes, Food, Milk, Cream and Nursery equipment are all included.
Parents that have specific preferences of any of offered products are advised to provide these with clear markings of the child’s name.
We only ask for parents to provide nappy barrier cream clearly labelled with their child’s name.
